Being a performer has an emotional and financial cost on Vietnamese women. Juggling teaching and performances is a way of life for Phu An. However, leaving her daughter in the full care of her in laws is getting harder as Bu is growing up in a cheeky little girl.
FAMLAB is a Stories workshop organised in Hanoi in October 2019. The five short films made by local up-and-coming talent celebrate female musicians and explore some of the social challenges faced by the current female generation.
